Co-founder of Booked Up Media, looks after marketing for Le Torri di Porsenna

If a number cannot be traced back to a source, it does not get published.

Lorenzo Bonari is co-founder of Booked Up Media, the marketing agency for independent hotels that has looked after Le Torri di Porsenna's direct bookings, organic visibility and pricing since 2026. His work covers digital marketing end to end: from building sites like this one to paid media, through to measuring what a booking is actually worth.

Before Booked Up Media he was lead of international expansion at Dentsu, scaling seven- and eight-figure brands into new markets. That background is why L'Almanacco exists in five languages rather than one: the audience for an agriturismo on the Umbria-Tuscany border is German, English, French and Spanish at least as much as it is Italian.

L'Almanacco is written with the people who run the property and live here all year. The method is simple and strict: no checkable fact, whether an opening time, a drive time or a festival date, goes into an article without a source that was actually consulted. Where there is no source, the sentence changes. It is the same principle he applies as named reviewer of everything published on Booked Up Media.

How the articles are checked

  • Drive times come from a single table and are identical in all five languages.
  • Opening hours, ferries and festival dates appear only if read that day on a source cited at the end of the article.
  • No prices: they change, and a stale rate on an evergreen page is a broken promise.
  • Every article says at least one thing that is not worth doing, or when not to come.
